Why does my computer not open zip files

Thanks for your feedback. You apparently had it installed on the old computer, but don't have it on the new laptop. It's free. To start let me say I am not very tech type. I can turn a computer on then things get iffy from there. Here is my problem. I made a back up disc of a previous computer. It the computer died so I am now trying to reload back up data on to new laptop.
